Job Description:
Digital Agency Seeks Experienced Agency Account Manager
- Serve as the primary point of contact and relationship manager for assigned client accounts
- Understand client business objectives, marketing strategies and pain points to provide tailored solutions
- Collaborate closely with the creative, development and project management teams to deliver exceptional client experiences
- Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, including scoping, planning, execution and reporting
- Proactively identify opportunities for growth, upsell and cross-sell additional services
- Negotiate contracts, handle billing and invoicing, and ensure timely payments
- Anticipate client needs and act as a strategic advisor to drive client satisfaction and retention
- Lead client meetings, presentations and status updates to effectively communicate progress and results
- Identify and escalate any issues that may impact project timelines, budgets or scope
- Provide regular performance reports and make recommendations for optimization
- Foster a strong, collaborative partnership between the agency and client teams
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as an Account Manager or Client Relationship Manager in a digital agency setting
- Proven track record of managing multiple client accounts and exceeding revenue targets
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build trust, maintain strong client relationships and advocate for client needs
- In-depth understanding of digital marketing channels, technologies and best practices
- Solid project management skills to oversee complex, cross-functional projects
- Excellent problem-solving, negotiation and conflict resolution abilities
- Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experience managing agency-client contracts, SOWs, budgets and invoicing
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field
